Ongoing Food Drive

WOWI runs an ongoing food drive at the West Islip Public Library, 3 Higbie Ln, West Islip, NY 11795, on the corner of Montauk Highway and Higbie Lane. In the lobby of the Library we have a large bin where neighbors donate non perishable food items throughout the year. We then deliver these collected items to local food pantries in West Islip. Please support our ongoing food drive at the Library. There are many more people in need than you could ever imagine! Thank you. 

2019 Fall Food Drive

The Fall Food Drive was a great success! Thank you for helping us help them.

We collected two car loads of non-perishable food items and delivered all to our local food pantries.

2018 Fall Food Drive

The Autumn food drive was held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Union Boulevard Stop and Shop Supermarket.
Attending the event were WOWI members Regina Jacoby, Annie Bos Greene, Carol Marino, and Mary Louise Cairo.
